Our Story

Guests enjoying a private animal encounter at Mini Moments at Ancell Acres.

I’m Hayley — a teacher of 18 years, animal lover forever, and now the heart behind Mini Moments at Ancell Acres. Together with my husband Steve, we’ve built a small farm that celebrates kindness, curiosity, and connection. What started as a tiny house project slowly grew into something bigger: a place where families, children, and guests could meet the animals we love, learn about sustainable farm life, and feel the quiet magic that happens when the world slows down for just a moment.

Mini Moments

Miniature animal encounters, learning experiences, and photo opportunities in the heart of the Fleurieu. Every encounter is calm, personal, and hands-on. Our experiences are designed to slow the pace, spark joy, and connect guests with gentle animals in a safe, nurturing environment.

A hands-on learning experience ideal for homeschool groups, families, and curious kids. This guided tour introduces guests to farm life, routines, animal care, and sustainable living.
