Welcome to Mini Moments at Ancell Acres. A place where little moments make big memories.
Mini Moments began the way many beautiful things do — with a dream that wouldn’t stay quiet. For years, we imagined a space where people could slow down, breathe deeper, and reconnect with the simple joy that comes from being close to animals and the land.
Here on our rolling Mount Jagged hills, that dream finally found its home.
About Us
I’m Hayley — a teacher of 18 years, animal lover forever, and now the heart behind Mini Moments at Ancell Acres. Together with my husband Steve, we’ve built a small farm that celebrates kindness, curiosity, and connection.
What started as a tiny house project slowly grew into something bigger: a place where families, children, and guests could meet the animals we love, learn about sustainable farm life, and feel the quiet magic that happens when the world slows down for just a moment.
The more time we spent with our animals — Daisy the Highland cow, Chunky, our miniature donkeys Zippy and Chewy, the playful goats, little Millie and Marsha, Barney and Fozzie the lambs, along with our sweet chickens and rabbits — the more we realised how healing these gentle creatures can be. Their calm presence, funny quirks, and soft nuzzles sparked something in us, and we wanted to share that feeling with others.
