Duration: 60 minutes Suitable for: Ages 4+, homeschool groups, families, NDIS clients Max group size: 6 guests Availability: Weekdays preferred; weekends by request Clothing: Closed-toe shoes; long pants, hat & sunscreen recommended Experience Description A hands-on learning experience ideal for homeschool groups, families, and curious kids. This guided tour introduces guests to farm life, routines, animal care, and sustainable living. It includes behind-the-scenes learning and age-appropriate educational content. Guests Will: • Learn how we care for Daisy the Highland cow • Observe donkey behaviour and gentle training • Discover how lambs, goats, alpacas, and chickens communicate • Explore our off-grid farming setup (water, solar, grazing) • Participate in brushing, feeding, or quiet observation What Guests Learn • Animal welfare & responsible farm practices • Differences between species (herd animals vs independent animals) • Sustainable grazing, paddock rotation, and enrichment • Why miniature animals are suitable for low-impact agritourism • Sensory awareness and calm handling techniques Safety Expectations • Children must stay with their adult • Hands must be washed after touching animals • No entering pens unless invited • No feeding without staff instruction • Keep gates closed at all times What's Included • Guided educational presentation • Interactive demonstrations • Age-appropriate worksheets (optional for school groups) • Every student receives a Mini Moments Showbag including: • An information booklet • Adventure worksheets • Curriculum-linked worksheets (subject specific) • A Mini Moments pen • A key ring • A postcard • A completion certificate Pricing • Homeschool group rate: $200 per group • NDIS invoicing available
